Mood board and creative direction
Hand-drawn illustrations were essential to reflect the creativity, skill and craft that goes into each piece in this shop. As these pieces are one-of-a-kind the logo had to be unique to reflect this. The client has a love of the shape and texture of mushrooms and provided me with her own photographs, which I was excited to include in the design. I drew a lot of inspiration from nature, particulary elements found in a forest. I began by sketching out mushrooms from the client’s images.
Primary logo and alternatives
The logo blends modern typography with delicate illustrations of mushrooms and wild forest elements, creating a design that exudes natural elegance and beauty. The circular shape adds balance and symmetry to the overall composition, while the chosen typeface is refined and sophisticated.
Colour palette
Natural tones inspired by leaves and flowers have been chosen. The organic, earthy pink brings to mind clay or pottery, while the deep, moody forest green contrasts beautifully against it and adds a touch of sophistication and elegance. The serene, rustic colours also evoke feelings of calmness and peace.
